During that period ol time I got the Pollution Control Board people.l8.the Environmental Protection Agency peoplee the coal industry, and

6. me to believe that there was something seriously wrong in the

7 ability of that agency to reaet under pressure. The most serious

g allegation that has been made by WTAQ, and which I have asked our

staff to look into, is the faet khat ninety-seven percent of Ehe9.

on the activities of his office. Now, I'm very sorry that I haven't1l.

s - .this was first brought to my attention on the 4th of Aprile today
