• Teams operate best from a single campus population
• Design and build facilities are necessary
• Safety Training is MANDATORY• Students learn best when they are
responsible for ALL activities• Coaches and Teachers are primarily for
basic guidance and consultation

Role of Teacher Sponsor
• Assist with leading student teams• Help identify and develop team leaders• Manage access to school facilities and

• Perform the majority of the design and construction
• Document all design, manufacturing and testing
