Fresh new spaces

• The original Southlake building, constructed in 1918, has been totally renovated.

• The original Broadmoor West building has been totally reimagined and expanded throughout all rooms, lobbies and exteriors; like the legendary main building, balconies and Juliet balconies are a major focal point, providing stunning mountain and lake views.

• The Golden Bee, an authentic English pub, has been expanded along with a meticulously authentic renovation to its façade and a tented rooftop garden.

• The historic Pauline Chapel, created in 1919 by Broadmoor matriarch Julie Penrose, has been renewed to offer non-denominational Sunday services and host our musical Recital and Evensong series.

Exciting new adventures

• The Ranch at Emerald Valley, a one-of-a-kind wilderness retreat with 10 distinctive cabins now offers a unique Colorado outdoor experience eight miles from the resort in Pike National Forest.

• Cloud Camp, a unique mountaintop retreat sitting at 3,000 feet above The Broadmoor, offers breathtaking 360-degree views and an unmatched setting for group retreats and leisure getaways.

• The Broadmoor’s Fly-Fishing School has opened on a lake between the East and West golf courses. The distinctive, Adirondack-style building includes a large fireplace, meeting area and fishing equipment. In winter, the school will transform into an outdoor ice skating venue.

• The Broadmoor Fishing Camp presents a private fly-fishing program with a beautifully restored lodge and seven miners’ cabins that date back to the 1880s. Located on the Tarryall River, with more than five miles of private waters, this is an exclusive fly-fishing experience complete with dining, accommodations and some of the best angling in Colorado.

• The Broadmoor Seven Falls, a magnificent series of waterfalls located in a 1,250-foot-wall box canyon on The Broadmoor grounds, only one mile away from the hotel. This attraction also features The Broadmoor Soaring Adventure, the ultimate zip line experience.

• Ristorante del Lago, an exciting new Adam D. Tihany-designed Italian restaurant, has opened in Broadmoor West along with the adjacent Bar del Lago.

• Longtime guest favorite La Taverne has a fresh new look, with a new atrium called Le Jardin; more florals and a stunning 16-foot chandelier that creates the feel of a European conservatory. Also featured is a new menu, expanded bourbon and wine program, a raw bar and Prime steak program.

• PLAY at The Broadmoor, an eclectic, upscale family restaurant and activity center with bar, bowling and a game area, has been added to Broadmoor West.

• Natural Epicurean is a full-service restaurant specializing in locally sourced, natural and wholesome food.
