8th OISTAT THEATRE ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION 2011

From April 4th till April 8 the jury for 8th OISTAT Theater Architecture Competition, TAC 2011 met in Prague, Czech Republic. Jury took the opportunity to visit the site of this year´s competition, St. Anna church. 20 selected works (Prize winning schemes, honorary mentions and other 9 selected works) will be exhibited during Prague Quadriennale – PQ – between June 16 till 26 2011 in St. Anna. On Friday 17 June 18:00 there will be a prize giving ceremony in Prague St. Anna. On Saturday 18th a series of lectures will highlight questions of theatre architecture, the winners of TAC 2011 are invited to present their works to the present students, architects and other experts. There will also be the chance to discuss with the jury members present. All competitors are invited to visit PQ 2011 in Prague. Take the opportunity to compare your own works with the winning schemes, see what was special with that. Have some days with other specialists working in the field of theatre architecture and theatre engineering. Visit Theater Architecture section of PQ in St. Anna which explores non permanent theatre spaces.
