Iron is mentioned three times: (1) The stones of an altar cannot be cut with iron (Deut. 27:5). (2) The rebuke states that the Land of Israel will be as iron
(28:23). (3) The rebuke also states that enemies will place an iron yoke around the neck of the Jews (28:48).

A Lil’ Reminder… .From Lil Goldberg
Summer is leaving us and Rosh Hashanah will be here shortly, and before long we will be getting ready for Chanukah! This is a
reminder that now is a good time to accumulate and bring toiletries and other small gifts to the office, to be used for our annual
Chanukah bags for our Nursing Home Project. Please drop by the office and I will come pick them up, or stop by my home.
Thank you!
Mitzvah on Wheels - You Can Help! This program will assist shul participants who cannot drive to get to medical

Mini-‐Minyan Kinder Konnection presents a weekly Shabbat morning experience catered toward young children. Ages 2-‐10 join “Auntie A” at 10:30 am, for games, song, movement and snack. Please support and encourage children (and
parents) to join our mini-‐minyan, or we welcome them to join their families inside the shul. This way, we do not have unattended children and noise drifting throughout the building. After, we will join together on the Bima. Please be aware of your child’s surroundings while on the Bima, as people
are still davening during this time. For more information, contact Adrienne Suson.
