Cross-technology communicationSmartOne connects subscribers of diff erent mobile radio systems. As a gateway, the application solution is capable of interconnecting the group calls and individual subscrib-ers from diff erent systems in common voice calls and text messages.

Integration of TETRA, DMR, MPT & LTEDiff erent mobile radio systems can be connected to each other. All call, GPS or message activities are consequently merged in a single user interface.

Unifi ed dispatchingSmartOne off ers complete and powerful dispatching functions, such as voice calls, GPS positioning services, messaging functions and voice recording.

Solution HighlightsEnriched communications with SmartOne

User-friendly and adaptable user interfaceThe user interface of every workstation can be adapted in a fl exible way. It is possible to create several work areas and to individualize them using plugins, images and texts. The operation is done intuitively using drag-and-drop.

Hot standbyThe key network elements support redundant deployment, which provides a 24/7 un-interrupted service.

Functions (excerpt)

■ Connection of LTE, TETRA, DMR (conventional and trunked radio) and analog (MPT1327) mobile radio systems as well as private automatic branch exchanges (PABX) and the public telephone network (PSTN)

■ Integration of dispatching, voice recording, SDS messag-es, GPS, CCTV cameras and gateway services in one central application

■ Interconnecting voice calls or message exchange between diff erent radio technologies using a software gateway

■ Support of control room workstations using a graphical expansion to several monitors

■ Flexible integration of web applications using an inte-grated browser plugin, e.g. for big data applications

■ Wired or wireless connections to the radio networks

■ Complete multi-client capability through individualiza-ble responsibility and functional areas for every SmartOne client

Applications

Wireless inter-connection application

This solution uses a gateway to connect diff erent network‘s mobile radios to enable inter-system communication.

Typical case: The Urban area adopts a DMR Trunking system, while the suburbs adopt DMR Tier 2. Via Hytera SmartOne, the two systems can be connected seamlessly; terminals can roam between these two systems and be contacted via a common dispatcher.

Unifi ed inter-department dispatching

By connecting diff erent networks to Hytera SmartOne, the dispatcher can easily achieve unifi ed dispatching across all networks.

To handle a major emergency, multiple departments operating in various systems may be dispatched. With Hytera SmartOne, communications and dispatching among these departments can be achieved.

Mobile inter-connection

Hytera DS-6610 supports car-mounted installation, which makes mobile inter-connection and dispatching possible.

With multiple interfaces and powerful processing services, the DS-6610 can achieve inter-department cooperation and enable real-time communication between the onsite command center and headquarters.

The DS-6610 MPUC enables the interconnection of two diff erent radio systems via two Hytera radios. For small radio networks, it can also be used as a SmartOne server. In large networks, it serves as a gateway for the actual SmartOne server.

DS-6610 MPUC

The DS-6610 VPUC serves as a bridge for all important communica-tion technologies and as the SmartOne server. It off ers interfaces for up to eight Hytera radios, two PSTN interfaces and 2 GSM interfaces. In addition to Wi-Fi, it also supports fast LTE data transfer.

System architectureThanks to its sophisticated system architecture, SmartOne off ers a particularly high reliability.

■ With server redundancy, every SmartOne workstation can connect with two central servers. If the active server fails, the hot-standby server automatically takes over the service and ensures a continuous operation.

■ The API connection redundancy enables every SmartOne server to connect to several infrastructure API interfaces. This allows continuing the dispatching work even in the case of a partial failure of an infrastructure node.

■ Scaleable to diff erent system sizes: from a single stand-alone solution up to a complete client-server architec-ture with central servers and remote workstations.

■ The system is designed for multi-client capability. Every SmartOne user can be assigned corresponding radio groups and subscribers. This allocation creates an even more sophisticated degree of responsibility.
