On October 7, 2016 the DBR Chamber of Commerce nomi-nating committee recommended the following four (4) direc-tors for re-election to a three (3) year term expiring 2019. The Director election takes place at our annual meeting to be held in December 2016.

Our by-laws provide additional candidates for director can be nominated by petition bearing the genuine signatures of at least 5% of the qualified members of the chamber. Such a petition must be filed with the nominating committee chairperson David Levitz, GCG Financial, 2 Parkway North, Deerfield, IL 60015, within 10 days after this notice has been given of the names of those nominated. The determination of the nomination committee as to legality of the petition(s) shall be final. If a petition is filed, pursuant to Section 2, Subsection C, of our by-laws present-ing additional candidates, the names of all candidates shall be arranged on a ballot in alphabetical order. Instructions will be to vote for seven candidates only. The Executive Director shall mail this ballot to all active membes at least 25 days before the annual meeting in December 2016. The ballot shall be marked in accor-dance with instructions printed on the ballot and returned to the DBR Chamber of Commerce, 405 Lake CookRoad, Suite A201, Deerfield, IL 60015, within ten (10) days or by a reasonable date noted on the ballot.
Our by-laws provide that the DBR Board of Directors elect our officers at the December 1, 2016 Board of Direc-tors meeting.
