The driving power is adjusted by means of a knurled wheel onthe side of the tool. When the indicator is in the rearmostposition the greatest driving power is obtained from a cartridge,in the foremost position the lowest driving power is obtained.Thanks to this means of power regulation only two cartridgepower levels are required.

Note:The red cartridge covers 90 "/" ol all applications. The blackcartridge is needed for the special fastening of steel tosteel.

WarrantyHilti DX ToolsHilti FastenersHilti Cartridgesare integral parts of a technical system. Their combined func-tions make for optimum safety and quality. Hilti powder-actuated tools are covered by a S-year warranty from thedate of invoice for deficiencies in material or manufacturewhich cause premature wear or breakdown of the tool. Thiswarranty coverage will be upheld if the tool is operated

correctly in accordance with the operating instructions, if thetool is cleaned and serviced properly and the technical systemis maintained. This means that only Hilti fasteners, Hilti powerloads and Hilti spare parts or other products of equivalentquality may be used in the tool. Under the terms of this warranty,excluding any other further claims, defective parts, which mustbe submitted to the Hilti marketing organization in question, willbe replaced free of charge. Parts subject to normal wear andtear are not included in this warranty.
