1. UVOD
Intenzivni razvoj na polju sintetskih elastomera rezultirao je nizom novih materijala koji imaju zna~ajke vrlo visoke kakvo}e.To su: silikonski elastomer, etilen-propilenski elastomer, klor-sulfonirani polietilen, klorirani polietilen, etil-vinil acetat, poli-kloropren.Neki od njih, kao npr. etilen-propilen, postali su nezamjenjivi izolacijski materijal. Spomenuti elastomeri, uz jo{ neke druge, afirmirali su se u kabelskoj industriji kao temelj za gumene mje{avine i daju im zna~ajke koje odre|uju podru~je uporabe doti~nih vodova ili kabela.Sve poznate svjetske norme za odre|eni tip voda ili kabela propisuju vrstu elastomera ovisno o namjeni i mjestu njihove uporabe.
2. TEMELJNI ELASTOMERI
Prirodni (NR) i stiren-butadienski (SBR) elastomer
Prirodni elastomer (NR) i sintetski elastomer stiren-butadien (SBR) imaju izrazito sli~ne elektri~ne i temperaturne zna~ajke. Stoga se ova dva elastomera mije{aju u odre|enom omjeru ~ine}i time temelj gumene mje{avine.
0Rabe se za izolacije i pla{teve u temperaturnoj grupi do 70 C. Imaju visoki specifi~ki elektri~ni otpor, veliku savitljivost, ~ak i na niskim temperaturama, ali im je otpornost prema ke-mikalijama slaba, a naro~ito prema onima organskog porijekla.
Etilen-propilenski elastomer (EPR i EPDM)
Ovaj sintetski elastomer je kopolimer etilena i propilena, a posti`e umre`enje pomo}u peroksida. Dobro se prera|uje, ima izvrsne elektri~ke zna~ajke, visoku otpornost na starenje i to-plinu, veliku savitljivost na niskim temperaturama, izvanrednu otpornost prema parcijalnim pra`njenjima i male dielektri~ke gubitke.
0Trajna radna temperatura za ovaj materijal je 90 C, a krat-0kotrajno do 250 C. Ovo je izraziti izolacijski materijal, ali i
pla{tevski sa {irokom uporabom, a naponska razina dosti`e i preko 138 kV.
Polikloroprenski elastomer (PCP)
Ovo je izrazito pla{tevski materijal, ali se rabi i kao izolacijsko- za{titni materijal kod nekih vodova (npr. vodovi za zavarivanje i sli~no).Izvrsna kakvo}a i raznolike zna~ajke daju ovome materijalu vrlo {iroku uporabu. To su: savitljivost i elasti~nost, otpornost na habanje, toplinu, mineralna ulja, atmosferalije, kemikalije (otopine, kiseline, alkalije), sun~evo zra~enje, ozon i niske
0temperature. Trajna radna temperatura je do 80 C.
1. INTRODUCTION
The intensive development in the field of the synthetic elasto-mers resulted in a series of new materials, bearing the features of very high quality.These are: silicone elastomer, ethylene-propylene elastomer, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, chlorinated polyethylene, ethyl-vinyl acetate, polychloroprene.Some of them, as ethylene-propylene, have become an irrepla-ceable insulating material. The stated elastomers, together with some others, have established themselves in the cable determi-ne the field of application of the said insulated conductors or cables.All well-know world standards prescribe the type of elastomer for a specific type of insulated conductor or cable, depending on the application and the place where it is to be used.
2. BASIC ELASTOMER
Natural (NR) and styrene-butadiene (SBR) elastomer
Natural elastomer (NR) and synthetic styrene-butadiene (SBR) elastomer have distinctly similar electric and thermic pro-perties. Because of that, those two elastomers are mixed in the certain proportion, forming the base of the rubber compound.They are used for insulations and sheaths in the thermal group
0up to 70 C. They have a high specific electric resistance, high flexibility, even at low temperatures, but their resistance to che-micals is weak, specially to those of organic origin.
Ethylene-propylene elastomer (EPR and EPDM)
This synthetic elastomer is a copolimer of ethylene and propy-lene and obtaines the crosslinking by means of peroxide. It processes well and it bares excellent electric properties, high resistance to ageing and heat, high flexibility at low tempera-tures, exceptional resistance to parcial discharge and small die-lectric losses.
0Permanent working temperature for this material is 90 C, and 0up to 250 C for short term. This is decidedly a insulating ma-
terial with very wide usage. Voltage level reachs over 138 kV.
Polychloroprene elastomer (PCP)
It is decidedly a sheathing material, but it is also used as insu-lating-protecting material in some insulated conductors (for inst.: welding cables and similar).Excellent quality and various features secure very ample usage of that material. These are: flexibility and elasticity, resistance to wear, heat, mineral oils, weathering factors, chemicals (so-lutions, acids, alkalia) sunbeams, ozone and low temperatures.
0Constant working temperature is up to 80 C.

Klorsulfonirani polietilen (CSM)
Plaštevski materijal s izrazito dobrim svojstvima:otpornost na toplinu do 150°C, otpornost na široki spektar ke-mikalija, uljna otpornost, otpornost na gorenje, izvanredna ot-pornost na habanje, odliène mehanièke znaèajke (velika pre-kidna èvrstoæa i veliko prekidno istezanje).Trajna radna temperatura je 90°C.
3. OBILJE@AVANJE @ILA
Kako se proizvodnja vodova temelji na DIN i VDE normama, tako je i obilje`avanje `ila sukladno HRN N.CO. 010 I VDE 0293 normama.Savitljivi vi{e`ilni vodovi mogu biti u dvije izvedbe. Sa za{titinim vodi~em nose oznaku G prema VDE ili Y prema HRN i bez za{titnog vodi~a sa oznakom X prema VDE ili bez oznake pre-ma HRN.U izvedbi sa za{titnim vodi~em postoje slijede}a obilje`avanja `ila:3 - ̀ ilni vod: zeleno/ ̀ uta-sme|a-plava4 - ̀ ilni vod: zeleno/ ̀ uta-crna-plava-sme|a5 - ̀ ilni vod: zeleno/ ̀ uta-crna-plava-sme|a-crna.Kod 6 i vi{e `ila ostaje `uto/zelena `ila a ostale su crne sa tiskanim brojevima slijedom od iznutra po~ev{i s 1.@uto/zelena ̀ ila mora biti u vanjskom sloju.Izvedba bez za{titnog vodi~a2 - ̀ ilni vod: sme|a-plava3 - ̀ ilni vod: crna-plava-sme|a4 - ̀ ilni vod: crna-plava-sme|a-crna5 - ̀ ilni vod: crna-plava-sme|a-crna-crna.Kod 6 i vi{e `ila sve su `ile crne boje sa tiskanim brojevima, slijedom iznutra po~ev{i s 1.
Chlorine-sulphurised polyethylene (CSM)
The sheathing material of exceptional properties:oHeat-resistance up to 150 C, resistance to a wide range of
chemical substances, oil-resistance, flame-resistance, excepti-onal resistance to wear, excellent mechanical characteristics (high tensile strength and elongation at break).
oConstant working temperature 90 C.
3. MARKING OF CORES
Since the insulated conductor production is based upon DIN and VDE standards, the cores are also marked in accordance with HRN N.CO.010 and VDE 0293 standards.There are two possible designs of the flexible multicore insulat-ed conductors. If with protective conductor, they bare the G mark acc. to VDE or Y acc. to HRN, if without the protective conductor, they bare the X mark acc. to VDE or none, acc. to HRN.The following marking of cores are applied in the type with the protective conductor:3-core insulated conductor: green/yellow-brown-blue4-core insulated conductor: green/yellow-black-blue-brown5-core insulated conductor: green/yellow-black-blue-brown-blackBy 6 and more than 6-core insulated conductors the yellow/ green core remains, the other cores are black with number-printing starting from within with number 1.The yellow/green core must be in the outer layer.Construction without protective conductor:2-core insulated conductor: brown-blue3-core insulated conductor: black-blue-brown4-core insulated conductor: black-blue-brown-black5-core insulated conductor: black-blue-brown-black-black.By 6 and more than 6-core insulated conductors all cores are black with number-printing, starting from within with number 1.

Plosnati vodovi rabe se za napajanje upravlja~ko-signalnih krugova na kranovima, transporterima i drugim slu~ajevima gdje nisu pogodni okrugli vodovi. Uvjeti rada ovih vodova su veoma te{ki.Neprekidno su izlo`eni mehani~kim naprezanjima kao {to su: vlak, uvijanje i habanje, zatim atmosferilijama, kao i djelovanju maziva i ulja.Mjesta uporabe su otvoreni prostori kao i tvorni~ke hale gdje postoji mogu}nost doticanja sa uljima i mazivima.

Flat insuladet conductors are used for feeding of control-signalling circuits of cranes, transporters and in other cases when round insulated conductors are not suitable. Working conditions of those insulated conductors are very hard.They are constantly exposed to mechanical strains, such as: tensile stress, torsion and wear, weathering factors and to the action of greases and oils.They are used in outside areas such as factory workshops, where contacts with oils and greases are possible.
