WHAT IS 9GAG...? 9GAG is the funniest yet simplest platform for you to publish

or collect pictures of Fun.

9GAG allows users to subscribe and follow each other. They are dubbed as admirers and admiring.

Admirers are people who receive your Fun. If someone admires you, they're your admirers – they'll receive your Fun in their homepage. If you admire someone, you are their admirer.

Admiring someone on 9GAG means you are subscribing to their Fun, and their Fun will appear on your 9GAG homepage. Your admirer/admiring stats are listed on your profile page.

FIRST YOU SHOULD...

Go ahead and access www.9gag.com in your internet browser.

It is not necessary to sign up to this website however it is recommended as more features will be available to you; such as uploading your own photos and commenting on someone else’s.

Once you have accessed ww.9gag.com, it should look something like this

TIME TO SIGN UP! Locate a ‘Sign up’ button near

top of the page. It is a bright lime green button that cannot be missed. Another alternative is the ‘signup’ word on the toolbar.

After you have clicked the button, a page like this will show up (see image on the right). This is where you would enter your personal details you would use for the access of 9gag. Click sign up after filling in the details.

Alternatively you can login 9GAG using your Facebook account.

WHAT’S NEXT...? After the registration is

successful, a warm turquoise blue banner will welcome you to the website. Isn’t that nice?

If you would like to learn more about the website, do click on the ‘learn more’ text that is located in the banner.

If you haven’t noticed already, the toolbar on the top changes slightly as well. This gives you an option to upload a photo. By hovering over your username, it allows you to change your account settings; or just simply logout.

UPLOADING PHOTOS Locate a ‘+Post’ button on the

toolbar. The toolbar will always be on the page; no matter where you are in 9GAG. This will result in easier accessibility.

9GAG will redirect to a pretty straight forward page that looks like this. This is where you would upload the picture; or simply link it from another page. Fill in the details like you normally would and then click ‘add’ once you have finished.

In essence, the NSFW check box ensures that you are uploading at your own risk.

UPLOADING VIDEOS Similarly to uploading photos,

you are given the options to upload videos as well.

There is a small box that symbolises a video camera. Click on it and the page will alter. This time to suit the videos upload rather than the photos. It will look like this.

Once again, fill in the details and click on ‘add’ once you are finished.

DO NOTE that uploading a video is only through a video URL. You cannot upload a video of your own.
