The Macomb Center for the Performing Arts has been selected to receive funding from Arts Mid- west’s Performing Arts Fund, funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, with addition- al contributions from Michigan Council for Art and Cultural Affairs, Gen- eral Mills Foundation, and Land O’Lakes Foundation. The Performing Arts Fund supports the touring of professional performing artists specializing in the fine arts of dance, theater, music, and family enter- tainment throughout Arts Midwest’s nine-state region. These engage- ments include public per- formances and in-depth educational activities reaching audiences that lack access to the perform- ing arts. “Arts Midwest is proud to support the Macomb Center in their upcoming presentation of William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet,” said Arts Midwest Executive Director David J.
