A Bill to Drop Tax on Feminine Products

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. Throughout the United States, sales tax shall be dropped in the

purchase on female feminine products.

SECTION 2. Female feminine products: Sale products including; tampons,

menstrual cups, sanitary napkin, sanitary towel, sanitary pad, and menstrual

pads.

SECTION 3. The Office of Women's Health will oversee the enforcement of

this

legislation.

SECTION 4. This legislation shall take effect on July 1st, 2020.

SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null

and void.

A Bill to Eliminate Patent Monopolies on Drugs

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. U.S. Patent Law and Market Exclusivity shall no longer apply to legal drugs within

the United States.

SECTION 2. U.S. Patent Law: Right granted to the inventor of a process, machine, article of

manufacture, or composition of matter that is new, useful, and non-obvious; A

patent is the right to exclude others from using a new technology.

Drugs: Medication intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation,

treatment, or prevention of disease or illness.

SECTION 3. The US Department of Commerce shall oversee the enforcement of this

legislation.

A. The Department of Commerce will no longer grant any patents for legal

drugs.

SECTION 4. This legislation shall take effect exactly 6 months after passage.

SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

A Bill to Ban Animal Experimentation in Order to Reduce Animal Cruelty

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. In all 50 states and territories of the United States of America, experiments on

animals for consumer products will be illegal.

SECTION 2. Experiments- The process of performing a scientific procedure, especially in a

laboratory, to determine something.

Consumer Products- Goods that are bought for consumption by the average

consumer.

SECTION 3. The United States Department of Agriculture will oversee the enforcement of

this

legislation. The offender will receive a punishment of $1,000,000

SECTION 4. This bill will be implemented on January 1, 2020

SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

A Bill to Ensure Linguistic Competence

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT: 1

SECTION I: All public elementary schools will be required to teach a foreign language 2

to students beginning in kindergarten. 3

SECTION II: Foreign languages to be taught may include but are not limited to: 4

Spanish, French, Mandarin, Arabic, and German as these are the most 5

used languages in the world aside from English. 6

SECTION III: The U.S. Department of Education shall oversee enforcement of this 7

legislation. 8

A. Any school that refuses to act upon this legislation will have its 9

government funding reduced by 10% each year it fails to cooperate. 10

SECTION IV: This legislation shall take effect in August of 2020, giving schools enough 11

time to establish a foreign language department if needed. 12

SECTION V: All other laws in conflict with this new legislation shall hereby be declared 13

null and void. 14

A Bill to Ensure Safe School Lunch Choices

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION I: Schools will provide clearly labeled gluten-free lunch choices so students with

gluten allergies can have a safe school lunch.

SECTION II: Students who have gluten allergies need to clearly know which foods in a school

cafeteria line are safe for their consumption. Schools should both provide

gluten-free choices and clear labelling in the lunch line.

SECTION III: The US Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service will oversee the

implementation of this program.

A. No funding is necessary for this bill

SECTION IV: This legislation will become effective on January 1st 2020.

SECTION V: All other laws in conflict with this new policy shall hereby declared null and

Void.

A Bill to Cancel Mexico/U.S.A Border Wall Operations

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STUDENT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION I: All construction of the border wall along the Mexico United States border shall be

permanently stopped and nothing of it will be destroyed or continued.

SECTION II: The border wall was set to cost over 20 billion dollars and the money that would

be used towards the wall will be put towards funding public schools.

SECTION III: The Department of Homeland Security will provide oversight.

A. No funding is necessary for this bill

SECTION IV:This legislation will be put into effect on January 1st 2020

SECTION V: All other laws in conflict with this new policy shall hereby be declared null and

Void.

A Bill to remove Voter ID Laws in United States Federal

Elections

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. All 50 states in the United States of America shall remove voter ID laws.

SECTION 2. Voter ID laws in the United States are laws that require a person to provide some

form of official identification before they are permitted to register to vote,

receive a ballot for an election, or to vote in elections in the United States.

SECTION 3. The Federal Election Commission (FEC) will oversee the implementation of this

legislation.

A. A total of 35 states have laws requesting or requiring voters to show some form of

identification at the polls, all of which were in place in 2018.

B. The remaining 15 states use other methods to verify the identity of voters. Most

frequently, other identifying information provided at the polling place, such as a

signature, is checked against information on file.

C. In order to vote in U.S. Elections, voters will need to provide their voter registration and

ID for identification and access to the voting booth.

D. A new identification system will be put into place in partnership with ‘Spread the Vote’

to give physical ID cards to new registered voters.

E. Voters will obtain an ID without the requirement of a birth certificate.

F. Social Security and proof of residence will still be required for ID.

SECTION 4. This policy will go into effect at the start of the 2020 fiscal year.

SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

A Bill to Stop Production and Usage of the Penny as U.S. Currency

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT: 1

SECTION 1. Production of the penny shall immediately be ceased and the penny shall 2

gradually be removed as a currency 3

SECTION 2. PENNY: the 1 cent coin 4

CURRENCY: A system of money in general use in a particular country 5

SECTION 3. The Department of the Treasury will oversee the enforcement of this 6

legislation 7

A. All citizens and companies may give all of their pennies to banks who 8

will exchange it for other forms of currency such as dimes and 9

quarters 10

B. Banks will give the pennies they receive to the Department of the 11

Treasury who will compensate the banks in full 12

C. The Department of the Treasury will oversee the disposal of all 13

pennies it collects 14

D. All U.S. prices will be rounded up or down to the nearest 5 cents 15

SECTION 4. This bill will go into effect January 1st, 2021 16

A Bill to Ban all Advertisements on Children's Programs

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. All Advertising shall hereby be banned in all children's

television programs and all electronic media intended or likely to be viewed

by children under 12 years of age, regardless of intent.

SECTION 2. Advertising is defined as the act or practice of attracting public

notice and/or attention in any form that with the intention to aid by any means

an idea, a business, commodity, service, or entertainment. Electronic Media

is defined as any form of communication or method of displaying information

that utilizes electronic systems to allow an audience to remotely access

content from a source.

SECTION 3. This will be enforced by the federal trade commission.

A. Violators shall be punished with legal action and fines proportional to the

extent of the violation.

SECTION 4. This bill will take effect January 1st, 2020.

SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared

null and void.

A Bill to Fairly Expand the House of Representatives.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. Henceforth the House of Representatives shall automatically add, remove, or

remain stagnant with regards to its membership in accordance with the Wyoming Rule after a

nationwide census takes place.

SECTION 2. The Wyoming Rule states that no Congressional District may have more

individuals living in it than the total number of individuals living in the least populous state,

currently Wyoming.

SECTION 3. The United States Census Bureau shall be charged with ensuring the proper

collection of data pertinent to the overall population size and reporting that data to Congress so

the Wyoming Rule can be properly enforced. No additional funding will be required for this

legislation as this already falls under the Bureau’s responsibilities.

SECTION 4. This bill will come into effect immediately after its successful passage.

SECTION 5. All other laws and passages of Congress that conflict with this bill will be

considered null and void.
