TYSON MCDOWELLCHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER Tyson is a serial incubator of new entrepreneurs in consumer tech, enterprise tech,and aviation. Prior to MintHealth, Tyson was President of Avadyne Health whichrecently sold to growth private equity. Prior to Avadyne, he co-founded BenchmarkRevenue Management in 2002, a software company focused on Hospital RevenueCycle where he served as CEO and CTO, culminating in the merger of Avadyne andBenchmark in 2012. Mr. McDowell has developed innovative solutions to complexproblems including early development of Shopping Cart web applications,distributed parallel processing, and a novel software architecture that allowed web-based software to behave more like advanced business applications, well before theadvent of modern AJAX and HTML5 technologies. While business became hisfocus, Aviation remains a core passion. Tyson is a certified private pilot withinstrument, multi-engine, helicopter, and various type ratings. Over 13 years, he anda partner built and now fly a Velocity XL RG kit airplane, operated and maintainedex-Soviet L-39C Albatross Jet, and is an avid aerobatic pilot. She and her sisters co-founded and operated GolferGirl Magazine which had a national circulation of over 10,000 with subscribers in 50 states as well as in Canada and Mexico.
