A BOHEMIAN NIGHT DECEMBER 2018 WITH CCIP · and enjoyed the beauty of Taiwan and its culture....

DECEMBER 2018 CCIP cheered and toasted its accomplishments in 2018 last December 11, 2018 at Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila in Ortigas Center, Pasig City. For this year, everyone donned their best Bohemian-inspired outfits. Ms. Edwina Villarosa was awarded the title Bohemian of the Night, while Mr. Jerico Nepumoceno of Zenzest Asia Inc. and Engr. Cecile Ginete of Ardent World Inc. were awarded Male and Female Star of the Night respectively. DJM Grandeur Corporation bagged a prize for having the biggest bohemian group. Lastly, Atty. Blaise Nisce and his wife from ETN Beauty Concepts Inc. and Marco Antonio Razonable and Luzaida Razonable of Perfect Skin Beauty Products Inc. were the Best Couples of the Night. During dinner, members were serenaded by Miss Camille Franco of Banayad Acoustic Band. Members gamely danced and waited in eager anticipation to be called during the raffle draws. The members had fun in the parlor games prepared by VP Maria Trina Jelica Aquino and her co-host Miss Meilyn Velas, both from VMV Hypoallergenics. Pres. Emil Virtudes reported the 2018 accomplishments, followed by the annual election of the members of the Board of Trustees for the year 2019- 2020 and oath-taking of new members led by VP Edwina Villarosa. Last December 18, 2018 Pres. Emil Virtudes together with EVP Dina Estacio visited the Missionaries of Charity (Home of Joy for the Sick Children) at Tondo, Manila. This home takes care of 57 children, from infants up to 15 years of age. These children have special medical needs. They are in constant need of medicines and supplies. CCIP, through its generous members donated milk and supplies for their daily needs.

Election of Board of Trustees Asia-Pacific Cosmetic

Industry Leaders

Delegation Summit

CCIP held its annual election during its 4th General Membership

Meeting last December 11, 2018. This years’ election committee is

composed of COMELEC Chairman Mr. Vic Soco of Juvic Inc. with

COMELEC members Catherine Guiao of Chemworld Marketing

Corporation, Gladys Marie Conopio of DKSH Philippines Inc. and

Anna Lynn Wong of Ashland Specialty Ingredients.

The members voted for 5 new members of the Board of Trustees.

After casting their votes, the election committee declared the

following winners: Monina Leslie P. Ferrer of Snoe Beaute

Produits, Inc. and Engr. Edwina R. Villarosa of Environatural

Corporation, both re-elected board members, Camille

Buenaventura of Suarez Metaplas Industries Inc., Marites M.

Rabelo of ELC Beauty Inc. (Estee Lauder Companies), Christine

Michelle P. Reyes of Amway Philippines, L.L.C., and Victoria

Villanueva of Rainiers Research and Development Institute Inc.

The newly elected members of the Board of Trustees will serve a

two-year term from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2020. They

will join the incumbent nine (9) Board of Trustees (serving their

second year term) to complete CCIP’s fifteen-member Board of

Trustees.

Last December 3-9, 2018 in

and members attended the

Asia-Pacific Cosmetic Industry

Leaders Delegation Summit.

The summit is an informative

and interactive meeting with

professional conferences on

beauty technology.

The delegates were treated to

a local manufacturer plant tour

and enjoyed the beauty of

Taiwan and its culture.

Another activity during the

summit is the gala night where

delegates get to meet other

ASEAN industry leaders.

This summit was organized by

the Taiwan Cosmetic GMP

Industry Development

Association and China Union of

Cosmetics Hairdressing

Association and Chamber and

was sponsored by Thai Ho
