Under "Skill India" initiative, BSNL Management has approved apprentice training in identified trades with the following terms and condition. The scheme will be laurrched as "BSNL Swavlambi Scheme 2OL6' (fi(rF(rd(rd FITtrJfr Sfff 2Ot6) r,vith the followings:- a) Apprenticeship training in identified trades (ITI holders in respective streams) under Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) as per Annernrre-A would be at the rate of 6.50/o of the working strength (upto TM/PM level) in the circle/SSA for the year 2OL6-I7. The trade wise split up is as follows: Telecom Civil Electrical Total 4442 155 392 4989 b) No Policy will be formulated by BSNL for their recruitment in BSNL c) Stipend payable to the trade apprentices is directly linked to 7Oo/o of minimum wages of semi skilled workers notified by the respective state level or Union Territory in the first year. d) The scheme will be reviewed after one yea-r. Nodal officer of the scheme will be DGM (HR/Admn) at the Circle for implementing and commissioning the scheme. e) Circles have to use the web based Apprenticeship portal http:\cvtmis.ooa.lnlpaqest l\ -enticeshlplffiot tg,.asox. Regional Directorates of Apprenticeship Training (RDATs) at Chennai, Faridabad, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Kolkata and Mumbai may be contacted Details at Annernrre-B. 2. BSNL has written to MSDE for details that 50% of prescribed stipend as per Apprentice Protsahen Yojana'paid to the Apprentices would be reimbursed by MSDE to BSNL. 3. The scheme will start in the month of July-2O16 and monthly report may be uploaded by all the Circles in the prescribed proforma in CTMS Portal regularly. 4. Non territorial Circle may send their requirement of Apprenticeship trainees (if any) to the concerned territorial circle. Encl: As above. Copy to: 1.
