archery *Test your strength and accuracy to the full ina versatile and competitive sport. Archerywon’t disappoint in the entertainment,satisfaction and fun that it offers. Archery isextremely competitive and really gets a groupenergized quickly. A minimum of 48 hoursnotice is required for bookings.

clay target shooting *Experience the thrill of Clay Target Shootingwith a qualified instructor to accompany youat all times. This activity lasts between 1.5 – 2hours including the safety briefing.A minimum of 48 hours notice is requiredfor bookings.

hot air balloon rides*Experience the magic of a tailor-made HotAir Balloon Flight from Castle Leslie Estate.Lasting approximately 1 hour with the wholeexperience lasting about 3 hours, flights areavailable for groups of 2 – 8 passengers andcan take place in early morning or evening,around sunrise or sunset. A minimum of 48hours notice is required for bookings.

horse drawn carriage rides*A horse drawn carriage ride is a wonderfulway to experience the beauty of Castle LeslieEstate. Journey back in time on anenchanting carriage ride through thetree-lined avenues and bridleways, sit backand be charmed by what awaits you on yourpersonal tour of the most beautiful areas ofthe Estate. Our Stately horse and experienceddriver make this jaunt a perfect way toenhance a visit to the Estate. Carriage ridesmay be booked through reception or directlywith the Equestrian Centre. Subject toavailability and advance booking is essential.

victorian treatment roomsA visit to our spa will leave you feelingrefreshed and revitalised. With seventreatment rooms, a relaxation area and anoutdoor hot tub overlooking the stables,it’s the perfect place to ease wearymuscles. Our highly trained therapistswill pamper you with a range oftraditional organic therapies from the‘Eminence Organics’ and ‘Voya’ ranges.

equestrian centreAs one of Europe’s finest equestrianplaygrounds, Castle Leslie Estate offersmemorable horse riding experiences forriding enthusiasts of all levels. Ourfacilities include a 1,000 acre privateestate, 300 cross country jumps, 21 milesof meandering bridleways, a mile longall-weather gallop, 56 stables, a horsesimulator for beginners and an indoorarena with cross country fences. Wewelcome riders of all ability and agegroups, as long as you’re over seven! Weoffer expert tuition, gentle hacks andexhilarating cross-country rides.

fishing *Managed with care by the Leslie familyfor generations, the beautiful ‘Glaslough’or Green Lake is considered by many tobe one of the best preserved lakes inIreland. It is synonymous with monsterpike: in 1991, a specimen weighing 38lb9oz (17.5kg) was caught in the lake andbroke the 18-year official Irish record.Fishing is open to residents andnon-residents, and is charged per rod(person) per day and includes the use of aboat.

We’ve thoughtfully chosen several idyllic spots forthe perfect picnic in our beautiful 1,000 acreEstate. We’ll pack up the most perfect picnics foryou to enjoy and leave you to it.

falconry*Experience a unique insight into the noble andancient art of Falconry which offers a stimulating,unique and memorable experience. The majestic,beautiful birds are captive bred, both in Irelandand abroad. They include different species offalcons, hawks, owls and a magnificent goldeneagle.This activity lasts between 1.5 - 2.5 hours anda minimum of 48 hours notice is required forbookings.

games room at the old stable mewsFor our younger guests we have a fully equippedgames room. Located at the Old Stable Mews, it isthe ideal place for your children to enjoy many ofthe games available including board games, pingpong, snooker, a large jenga and giant connectfour.
