Silginat®

The new standard for opposing jaw impressionsMedium viscosity, addition-curing, elastomeric anatomical impression material based on vinyl polysiloxane.

Modern A-silicones now ensure an optimal impression when taking precision impressions and bite registrations. Why dispense with the convenience and quality of an A-silicone when taking opposing jaw impressions?

Silginat® has been specially developed for taking impressions of the opposing jaw, temporary crowns and bridges and fabricating splints and incorporates the advantages of A-silicones and alginates: it combines low tear resistance with

conjunction with the Plug & Press® mixing unit Sympress® Dispenser.

Elastic recovery of a modern A-silicone; the ideal complement to precision impression-taking.

The impression can be stored for several weeks; allows renewed, even multiple pouring, e.g. in the case of fracture or loss of temporary restorations.

Cut-back primary impression. All undercuts and in-terdental septa were fully removed, adequate escape channels were prepared to avoid the wash material displacing the primary impression material.

Syringing the prepared teeth with low viscosity Panasil®

into the infragingival region excellently, even with residual moisture. The tooth surfaces were immedia-tely and permanently wetted.

Completed two-step impression. The wash material

accurately reproduces the preparation details.

setting characteristics,Very time-saving with small prosthetic restorations, greater tolerance with complex restorations; increa-sed patient comfort.

Very low viscosity -gival areas; highly crisp reproduction of detail.

High thixotropyImproved hydrophilicity properties Accurate reproduction of subgingival preparation mar-

gins due to increased tolerance to residual moisture.

Positional stability: Panasil® contact plus x-light remains where it is applied due to its

-pic behavior, however, ensures good flowability when pressure is applied.

Rheology (the study of flow): Rheological mea-surements can be used to plot the chronologi-cal progress from the plastic phase to the ela-
