Words cannot adequately express the gratitude we have for our family and friends who have consoled us during the passing of our dear “BB”. Your presence, prayers, love, and many acts of kindness have truly sustained us. Again, we say Thank You and may God continue to bless you all.

As I sit here, heart heaviest I’ve ever known it to be.
Not knowing how to wrap my head around…. nor phantom the thought of
you not being here with me. So many memories from birth,
a toddler, a teenager, to a young man. From your first breath, sideways smile,
facial expressions, to some of your actions I just didn’t understand. Small things said like: he’s so quiet, laid
back, easy going and cool. Just to be told he’s a new age model of an old version of you. “BeBe” I would always talk
to you about life goals and lessons, based off my mistakes, possibilities and where to start. I would tell you that you are still young, apply your mind, you can have anything in life, so that you won’t have to work so hard. You would just be quiet and say yea…. hesitant saying,
I know. And I’d ease off only a little to give you your time and space to grow.
There are no words to tell you how proud I am of you and of the independent, responsible paths you began.
Especially the people who crossed your path young and old said you’re such a well-mannered, respectable young man. I’m going to pause this conversation, but only where this pen and paper meet. But we’re gonna pick back up in my every thoughts, awake and in the little bit of time that I try and sleep. Now I have to practice what I’ve preached, stay strong and never quit. In the meantime, say hello to Papa David and your uncle Twigg. I have some things to
handle here; Lord knows it’s a lot. Until I see you again, you know…. It’s me…. Your Pops.
