Bill McDermott A Fascinating Leader

William.R.McDermott was born in August 18,1961 in US.He is the current CEO of SAP.He uses a fine strategy to improve the growth of his company which sets him unique among other global CEOs. * SAP : "Systems, Applications & Products in Data Processinga Europeanmultinational softwarecorporation that makesenterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations. *Delicatessen : a small shop for selling cooked meat ,foreign food items , etc.2

A Strong FoundationLearn to adapt business strategies to particular marketsHave a concise vision and always stay within the point.Learn how your clients company functions and check what are all the process going on.Always have a keen interest on the clients requirements.

Respecting The CultureToo much focus is required for customers needs and goals rather than engineering and specifics of products that were designed.Since software is a scalable high margin business ,we dont need overbearing cost controls , we need innovations.Strategies vary between Germans and Americans.Leading in any country is all about 1)reading the room; 2)Respecting the culture and 3)Understanding people.

One Job At A TimeAlways focus on a single job and have a clear vision.Have a clarity on purpose of product.Have a respect on the company and the management.Always the best idea had to win, no matter who had it.Always possess high aspirations.

A Company For AgesRespect the culture and beliefs of the mother nation of the company.Part of being respectful of different cultures is recognizing the importance of where we live.In Germany, every employee representatives act as a Directors on corporate boards which is not possible in case of United States. Every member of the company must have unified clarity over the vision. It marks the unifying force of the company.7

Leadership Marks Wise ManagementLeaders will be forgiven for a lot of mistakes ,but never for lack of compelling vision and winning strategy.No matter where the company is located . Understand and respect the dynamics of culture.Armed with empathy , give the people a compelling vision and find the way to hit the accelerator harder.Never forget where we came from or that the best is yet to come.
