Be Healthy. Be Green. and Help Save God's EarthDid you know?

St. Paul’s has made huge strides in reducing the amount of waste returning to thelandfill by recycling and composng every day and especially aer churchfunconsSt. Paul’s has saved at least $3,000 a year by switching to City of Cedar Rapidsgarbage pick- up and no longer paying for a private removal serviceSt. Paul’s youth helped gather leaves and yard waste over the last year to becomposted instead of adding to the landfill as in the pastYou can make a big difference too! Most of us are good about recycling paper andplasc but if you live in Cedar Rapids, you can compost most food scraps, withexcepon of meat, like potato or banana peels and even used paper products, suchas napkins, along with your other yard waste in your city provided “yardy.”
