This will be a well organised Event, as part of many 950 Celebration Events, and a unique opportunity to follow this route almost 950 years to the original day of The Battle of Hastings in 1066. www.hastings-half.co.uk th All finishers will receive a Very Special Minted Brass to commemorate the Occasion. This opportunity will not happen again in our lifetime. All monies raised from The Event will be used by Battle Lions Club for The Community. This Event will be limited to 1066 entries. A distance of approx. 16 miles. Minimum age 17. A Foot Race, From Pevensey Castle (starting at 9am.) to Battle Abbey, following the well known ‘1066 Way Footpath’.
