In a rear projection system, or in a large screen TV, the

projector is positioned behind the screen. This means

that a presenter can stand in front of the image without

being blinded by the projector or casting shadows onto

the presentation. And with the technical equipment

hidden behind the screen, the room remains quiet, clean

and tidy.

Optical rear projection screen technology

dnp optical rear projection screens combine the

focusing qualities of advanced Fresnel lenses with the

distributive properties of meticulously crafted lenticular

lenses.

The Fresnel lens on the projector side focuses projected

light at right-angles to the screen. This ensures a

perfect light distribution with even screen luminance.

The vertical lenticular lenses on the screen “catch”

the light and distribute it across a wide viewing area.

Furthermore, dnp screens incorporate contrast-

enhancement technologies and filters which absorb and

reject ambient light.

> Enhanced contrast and image brightness

> Suitable for high brightness applications

> No shadows from the presenter on screen

> Projector is hidden behind the screen

> Noise-free operation
