Mary Gave St. Dominic the Mysteries to Overcome HeresySt. Dominic Guzman (1170-1221), traveled into

France preaching against the Albigensian heresy, but his efforts gained few conversions and even fewer

followers. In 1208, he went into a forest near Toulouse, France to pray, asking God to provide what he

needed in order to overcome the Albigensian heresy. After three days of prayer and fasting, three angels appeared in the sky along with a ball of fire. When

they disappeared, the Virgin Mary spoke, telling the priest that he must preach her Psalter in order to

succeed in his struggle to overcome the Albigensians.

added to the Rosary until St. Peter Canisius intervened at the Council of

Trent to make officially part of the Rosary. It was added to the Council of Trent Catechism in 1566. Saint Peter's main mission was to counter the Protestant

revolt in Germany. He was providentially born just four years after Martin Luther penned his 95 theses. To withstand the

errors of the Protestant deformers.

Six times a year the Rosary Center publication THE ROSARY, LIGHT AND LIFE is sent to those members who

wish it. Its purpose is to provide sound doctrine and spiritual guidance for readers everywhere.

Confraternity of the Rosary- Enrollment

Each member strives to pray the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary each week (this does not bind under sin), and must have his/her name inscribed in the register of the Confraternity. There are no meetings, and no dues. As we pray, we pray also for the intentions of all the other members of the Rosary Confraternity worldwide, living

and deceased. Luminous Mysteries are not yet required, but suggested to pray as well.

by the sins of men. People must say the Rosary. Let them continue

Blessed Mother. Love the Madonna and pray the rosary, for her Rosary is the
