Pounding the Pavement in Kiryat-Ono
You don’t need a suitcase,
And there’s no need to leave your keys with a neighbor.
Ignore all forms of transportationavailable…
(even if the broomstick
s seem ready for take off).
So dust off those sneakers, my friend. This is about pounding the pavement!
But remember to tread
carefully!
Ignore the no-access signs
(even the decorated
ones are not for you!).
You can overcome obstacles in your path
Don’t worry, you won’t get lost,
all directions are equally good.
Forget the headphones, you need to listen for the birds!
And take notice of who is busy watching
YOU!
Sometimes you need to
bend down,
and then look
straight up.
It’s O.K. to rest your feet and sit on a bench for a while….
It’s a good chance to check out the trees.
Don’t listen to
naysayers!
There’s ALWAYS
something to see,
Such as the ongoing battle between
modern life and nature.
You may even encounter some friendly aliens, you never know…
And suddenly you’ll find you’ve done it!
Don’t seem so surprised!
It’s easy to find something interesting to see every day, for 365 days, when you know how to look!
But don’t stop!
You won’t WANT to stop anyway…
Would you like to see more?
