n Opened 52,000-square-foot environmentally sustainable Nicholas and Athena Karabots Pediatric Care Center in West Philadelphia, accommodating 64,500 patient visits a year in 56 child-friendly exam rooms
n Broke ground on new Specialty Care Centers in Plainsboro, N.J., and King of Prussia and Chadds Ford, Pa.
n Opened CHOP’s first Urgent Care Center in Mays Landing, N.J., and will open a second location in King of Prussia in early 2014
n Added 450,000 square feet of state-of-the-art laboratory in Ruth and Tristram Colket, Jr. Translational Research Building
