This particular Saturday I had a Praise & Worship CD on quite loud and if the windows had been open the entire block in my neighborhood could have heard the music. I was vacuuming the front room and singing God’s praises when all of a sudden there was a loud crash. Something had crashed into the front window. There was such a force that there were a couple of feathers that stuck to the window and later that morning I had to Windex them off to get it clean again. Our dog Sapphire was startled and began to bark as I ran to the front window to see what had transpired. I looked down on the ground in front of the window and there was the most beautiful little yellow-breasted bird lying perfectly still. He was now present with his Father in Heaven. My heart went out to the little bird at suffering such an instant fate …and immediately the Spirit of the LORD spoke to my spirit (heart) and said, “All creation groans for the soon coming of the King!” Romans 8:22 & 23 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. 38 & 39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This little yellow-breasted bird could hear the sound of Heaven and tried to get to the place where the sound was coming from! Friend this little true story is a reminder to all of us that we must be ready for our coming King, Jesus Christ. Beloved are you ready? Do you hear the sound of Heaven?

MARANATHA!

Jesus is coming again soon!
