A MODEL OF UNMATCHED PERFORMANCE, FLEXIBILITY AND COMFORT.

Dassault has never been one to settle. So when we sought to build on the success of the Falcon 2000 Series, going the proverbial extra mile just wasn’t good enough. We insisted upon going hundreds and hundreds of them.

The result is a widebody cabin jet off ering 4,000 nm (7,410 km) range, unrivaled effi ciency and the ability to access short and challenging runways other jets run away from. The remarkable Falcon 2000LXS.

Built on the proven and capable Falcon 2000 platform, over 550 of these ultra-cost effi cient, robust aircraft are in service around the world, making it one of the most reliable and popular twin engine models in operation.

Its nearest competitor consumes 20% more fuel and requires at least 20% more runway. It can fl y your whole team nonstop from Paris to New York. Singapore to Sydney or Moscow to Beijing. Equipped with all the technology you need for business and the amenities you need for relaxation, inside one of the quietest cabins in business aviation.

Indeed, the Falcon 2000LXS is designed to please even the most demanding of world travelers. Off ering exceptional comfort, operating effi ciency, and mission fl exibility. All so you can hop from city-to-city. Cross continents. Span oceans. And achieve more.

PERFORMANCE

MORE PERFORMANCE WITH MORE EFFICIENCY FROM MORE AIRPORTS.

The Falcon 2000LXS is the benefi ciary of Dassault’s military heritage and technological know-how in aerodynamics and structural design. Which accounts for its high cruise effi ciency, unmatched low-speed performance, outstanding handling characteristics and safety.

The Falcon 2000LXS takes off from short runways and climbs quickly above time-wasting traffi c and turbulent weather.

The 2000LXS can seat ten passengers in complete comfort and fl y up to 4,000 nm (7,410 km) with 6 passengers. On shorter routes, it can achieve a maximum speed of Mach .84.

The 2000LXS can land at over 90% of its maximum takeoff weight. You can fi ll the tanks at home base, where fuel prices are often less expensive, make multiple short hops, and still have plenty of nonstop range, without refueling, saving you both time and money.

Plus, with its optimized, full span leading-edge slats, the 2000LXS off ers an excellent balance of range and superior airfi eld performance, especially from challenging airports with steep approach angles like those in London City or Lugano, Switzerland.

PE

RFO

RM

AN

CE

At maximum takeoff weight, the 2000LXS needs nearly 1,000 feet (305 m) less runway than its closest competitor. At high elevation airports such as Aspen, Colorado or La Paz, Bolivia, that advantage is more than 2,000 feet (610 m). So, with the Falcon 2000LXS, you have the considerable advantage of gaining access to hundreds of more airports around the globe. While also gaining the ability to fl y farther out of them.

TECHNOLOGY

TECHNOLOGY THAT’S EFFICIENT BY DESIGN.

Falcons are built side by side with some of the world’s most advanced fi ghter jets. No other business aircraft are designed by the same engineering teams, assembled in the same factories and test fl own by the same pilots who test military jets that fl y twice the speed of sound and pull nine times the force of gravity.

Our experience in the military and space sectors give every Falcon an undeniable advantage. For example, the same double-servo actuators used in the Rafale fi ghter give Falcon pilots the highest degree of fl ight control precision.

Dassault has long been a forerunner in the development of modern HUD systems. The fi rst HUD in operational use

was installed on Dassault’s Mirage IIIB fi ghter. The Mirage IIIB HUD paved the way for a long line of design improvements down to the advanced units on today’s Mirage 2000 and Rafale fi ghter aircraft.

And in the early 90’s, Dassault introduced the Falcon 2000, the fi rst business jet equipped with a head-up guidance system which permitted hand-fl own approaches down to CAT III conditions.Today, the 2000LXS provides pilots with a new level of situational awareness, off ering Dassault’s unique new combined vision system including a new infrared camera and called FalconEye.

Use of Dassault Systèmes’ groundbreaking CATIA 3D software assures Falcon parts are made with higher precision—within 1/100 of a centimeter—and fi t perfectly when assembled.

The wing of the 2000LXS is optimized for low-speed stability and high-speed effi ciency. High Mach blended winglets are both beautiful and effi cient.

Extendable inboard slats along the leading edge and slotted Fowler fl aps further enhance effi ciency over the entire fl ight. Giving you access to more airports with short runways. More range from short fi elds at high elevations on hot days. And the advantage of slower speed takeoff s and landings for greater control and safety.

Nowhere is technological advancement more rigorously pursued than in the

world of military defense. And Falcon business jets and their operators benefi t.

For example, the double servo-actuators in this fi ghter jet also give Falcon

pilots the highest degree of fl ight control precision.

FLIGHT DECK AND AVIONICS

HEADS UP –– WITH FALCON EYE, THIS IS BUSINESS AVIATION’S MOST ADVANCED FLIGHT DECK.

First introduced on our Falcon 900EX, Dassault’s EASy fl ight deck forever raised industry standards for intuitive fl ying and situational awareness. Now the Falcon 2000LXS boasts the next generation of this astonishing and upgraded command center, EASy II.

EASy II combines the intuitive feel of a fi ghter jet with the most advanced avionics and computer backups. It further reduces pilot workload in countless ways. It automates or abbreviates tasks that are repetitive, stressful and distracting.

EASy II further enhances operational capabilities and functionalities in particular thanks to its integrated Synthetic Vision System (SVS). The results are astounding. Vastly improved crew coordination. Increased automation awareness. And unsurpassed situational awareness.

EASy II’s Flight Management System (FMS) enables options like SBAS/LPV which allows for a wider range of approaches. Add XM® Graphical Weather and you get the big meteorological picture plus a host of enhanced weather products.

And there’s Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast (ADS-B Out) — the cornerstone of the next-generation Air Traffi c Management (ATM) System as well as CPDLC (Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications) functions.

EASy II introduces a number of safety-enhancing features as standard equipment. Its improved symbology further optimizes situational awareness. While the available SmartRunway™ Runway Awareness and Advisory System (RAAS) reduces the risk of runway incursions and excursions with audible alerts.

Perhaps even more remarkable is Dassault’s unique combined Head up Guidance System and new infrared camera, FalconEye. An industry-fi rst, FalconEye is a full-time, multi-spectral, high def, Combined Vision System (CVS) that marries an Enhanced Vision System (EVS) and Synthetic Vision System (SVS) into one harmonious heads up view – an invaluable advantage, especially in the worst weather conditions and in the dead of night.

ENGINES

RUGGED. RELIABLE. RESPONSIBLE.

Falcon owners know that effi ciency means more than just the best fuel economy. It also means enviably low emissions. Which is why twin enhanced Pratt & Whitney Canada PW308C turbofans power the Falcon 2000LXS. A rugged, 7,000 pound thrust engine from this renowned manufacturer known for its reliable engines, the PW308C incorporates advanced technology for high durability, low emissions and low operating costs. It has accumulated over a million fl ight hours. And because it’s tailor made for the Falcon, it complements the plane’s superior aerodynamics with high levels of effi ciency and dramatically lower emissions.

The PW308C off ers a fuel advantage of up to 35% over other large cabin planes and 10% over much smaller, less comfortable cabin jets.

With improvements to both the combustion and fuel delivery systems, the new PW308C engine boasts best-in-class smoke and emission performance. Enhancements include a high-effi ciency, reduced-volume TALON II™ combustor with enhanced fuel atomization characteristics. This engine satisfi es FAA, ICAO, CAEP/6, smoke and emission level standards, as well as meets Zurich class 5 requirements, with margin, on NOx and CO levels.

What’s more, the PW308C is optimized for ease of maintenance. Engines are warranted for 5 years or 3,000 hours and thrust reversers for 5 years or 5,000 hours. Perhaps best of all, the PW308C’s impressive time-between overhaul requirement of 7,000 hours, keeps the Falcon 2000LXS out of the shop and in the air.

2000LXS

Competitor A

Competitor B

Competitor C

Every Falcon is designed and built to fl y more effi ciently at every altitude than any other jet in its class. That saves fuel, saving you money. And for every pound of fuel saved, the environment is spared 3.15 pounds of CO2 emissions. The Falcon 2000LXS is designed to be one of the greenest Falcons yet.

The wing of the Falcon 2000LXS is designed and equipped to reduce fuel costs and carbon emissions. Its clean, optimized shape reduces drag and lowers fuel consumption. Blended winglets reduce fuel burn by an additional 5% while leading-edge slats and slotted Fowler fl aps further enhance its effi ciency. This effi ciency helps give the 2000LXS the lowest cost of operation in its class, a hallmark of Falcon ownership.

Falcon 2000LXS owners can also benefi t economically from FalconCare®, Dassault’s guaranteed maintenance cost program based on an hourly pay-as-you-fl y philosophy. FalconCare® ensures predictable operating costs and enhances resale value.

Quality can never be discounted. Generally, Falcons hold their value better then other business jets. The high demand for Falcons also means they take less time to resell, which makes them more attractive to buy. For all of these reasons, the 2000LXS is one business decision that will prove its wisdom as the years fl y quietly by.

MAKING AN IMPACT BY MINIMIZING OUR OWN.

The lowest operating costs in its class

Just how impressive are the DOC (Direct Operating

Costs) of the 2000LXS? Compared across categories,

it outperforms even smaller jets. Compared with some

similarly sized competitors, the 2000LXS can save

enough fuel over a 10-year period to pay for engine

and APU maintenance at the very least – and possibly

for almost all aircraft maintenance costs.
