My fellow Lions

As autumn approaches our thoughts turn to pumpkins, and football. But

something else is coming. Our annual pancake breakfast will be at the Atlas BBQ

restaurant on October 5th. If you are volunteering, thank you. Otherwise I invite all

Lions to come and eat some great pancakes. When I was District Governor I went

to a lot of club meetings, I would sit and listen. One thing that amazes me is every

time they would bring up a project it was always the same people that would step

up.

One thing that makes our club different from a lot of clubs in our district is we

develop leaders so when a project comes up I know that someone is bound to

step up and take charge. That is one of many things that makes us a great club. As

your president I want to say thank you to all our past leaders, and to all of our

future leaders.

With that being said, we still need someone to step up and take over the Grafton

Lions Golf Outing committee. If you are interested please let me know.

Yours in Lionism

Dan Montaine
