J. Richard Middleton is Professorof Biblical Studies at NortheasternSeminary in Rochester, New York,and serves as adjunct professor ofOld Testament at the CaribbeanGraduate School of Theology inKingston, Jamaica. He is aTheology Fellow for BioLogos, a USorganisation helping Christiansintegrate theology and science.

Born and raised in Jamaica,Richard did his BTh at the JamaicaTheological Seminary, holds an MAin philosophy from the Universityof Guelph (Canada) and a PhD intheology from the Free Universityof Amsterdam. He has authored anumber of books and articles ontopics from creation theology tobiblical eschatology, via themes ofsuffering and power.
