Our aimTo support and recognise the care role provided by young carerswith a package of special opportunities and discounts accessed
through the Young Scot card and membership portal.
For who?This package will be available to young carers aged 11-18. It is
offered in addition to the Young Carer Grant.
When?The Young Carers Package launches 12th June 2019

light as possible, including only a
handful of questions to help us
ensure that the opportunities are
going to young carers.
**Verification – The application form
will request the contact details of a
trusted adult. Depending on the
information provided applications will
either be automatically verified or
Young Scot staff will approve the
application manually. Our default
position will be to trust the young
person
