A Page From My Diary – A Day In Ocean Park

Page 1Date: Wednesday, 20th October, 2004Weather: Sunny, warm, 23ºC

This morning, Chi Ming, Dan and I went to Ocean Park. We arrived at the entrance at ten o’clock. After buying our tickets, we entered the park eagerly.

First, we took the cable car up over the hills to the other side of the park. We tried all the exciting rides. It was really fun! My favourite ride was the roller coaster. It was very fast and scary. We all screamed and screamed very loudly. I think we were all very brave. We had cold sweat on our skin but we didn’t feel sick.

Then, we went to the Ocean Theatre to watch the dolphin show. It was a lively show and we enjoyed it very much. All through the show, the trainers gave the dolphins and sea lions fresh fish because they did many smart tricks. The dolphins were really very clever and lovely. I like them very much. I hope I can be an animal trainer. Then, I can play with them every day.

At the end of the day, we saw the pandas. They are big handsome animals. We took many photographs of them! After that, we were all tired and hungry. We bought some marshmallows and hot dogs from the snack shop. I bought a panda photo-frame, Chi Ming and Dan each bought a shell key chain. Then, we went home happily.

It was an exciting day! I hope I can visit Ocean Park again during the Christmas holidays.Source: Modified from http://www.telenex.hku.hk
