DMV Investigator Working Group – Background & Purpose:
Mission of the Law Enforcement Standing Committee (LESC):
“Inspire collaboration between Law Enforcement and Motor Vehicle Administrators to improve highway and public safety.”
To further achievement of this goal, DMV investigators/Units need to be better integrated into AAMVA activities generally, and activities under the auspices of the LESC specifically.
Toward that end the DMV Investigator Integration Working Group was formed.

DIIWG Charter Highlights:
• Create a document (resources/guiding principles) for DMV Investigator’s and/or their Units;
• Create AAMVA conference session content for future AAMVA conferences germane to DMV Investigative Unit missions;
• Develop a DMV Investigator-centric AAMVA Webinar series;
• Develop DMV Investigator, Fraud Detection & remediation (FDR) training module;
• Strengthen mission awareness, information sharing and partnerships between DMV investigative Units and Federal, State/Provincial, local law enforcement and prosecutors.
