A PRESENTATION ON MY CHOSEN IDEA!

A BASIC IDEA! As a group we have decided to our opening sequence based around the opening of a book. ‘Grow Up’ by Ben Brooks. We thought this would

be a good idea as it is different and edgy.

The book itself is quite humours and so the genre we have chosen to use is comedy and it will also be a coming of age story. The humour will be subtle, tongue and cheek humour and very realistic. To compare, it

would be like the films ‘Submarine’ and ‘Juno’.

To give us ideas on how to portray the film as being humours I analysed the film ‘Juno’ as it is a perfect example

of the humour we want to portray.
