Recent Developments Data Model Developed - Project Browser provides friendly view

of Data Repository and easy metadata entry Data Turbine for live data capture, storage, replay and

synchronization (TIVO for experimental data) Electronic Notebook from DOE SCIDAC program NTCP triggered DAQ NTCP triggered Nikon still camera Automated extraction of sensor and video data from Data

Turbine during and after experiment Synchronized video support for both pseudo dynamic (stop-

motion) and real-time experiments Computational Simulation Portal

Data Turbine Dynamic data server that provides a unified view of

static and streaming data for universal data access– Video and multimedia – Test data acquisition – Telemetry streams – Real time monitoring – Delay tolerant networking

Highly scalable by allowing linkage of multiple data turbine servers

Interfaces to Matlab and Labview

Core group of developers and users within and outside of PEER.

PEER has provided 2.5 FTE of support and roughly 4 graduate students/year.

PEER will continue research and development for PBEE applications in OpenSees.
