This packet is to inform you about the details of our June 9 th and 10 th Annual Recital. Our recitals are very large productions that take a lot of work so we want to make sure that all the specifications are given to the parents so that we can put on a smooth and amazing show. TICKET SALES: Tickets went on sale Friday, April 7 th . It is assigned seating and there is no minimum or limit on how many tickets you can purchase. Everyone attending the show will need a ticket to get in unless they are performing in the show or they are a lap sitting child ages 3 & under. If your dancer is in more than one show, tickets are required for each show you plan on attending. We do offer parents the option of volunteering backstage so they do not have to purchase tickets for more than one show. If this is something you are interested in, please talk to the front desk so your name can be placed on the backstage workers list. Tickets can be purchased from the link on our website. DVD ORDERS: We hire a professional company to film and sell DVD’s for both recital shows. The show will be recorded in High Definition (HD) and will be shot from two separate angles to create a great video for your family to look back on for years to come. You will be able to order the DVD prior to, and at the recital. DVD’s will cost $30 a piece and will include the entire show. We will begin selling the DVD’s at the front desk the week of May 15 th . No phones, cameras or recordings will be allowed during the shows in order for all attendees to be able to view and enjoy the performance. PLEASE NOTE: Recreational Students who are in more than 1 show cannot stay backstage in
between shows. They must be picked up and dropped off for each show.
COSTUME, HAIR & MAKEUP All dancers should wear makeup for the recital because the stage lights will wash them out. We
recommend wearing blush, red lipstick, mascara, and any other makeup that you want to put on them is
up to you. With the little ones, we know it might be impossible to get makeup on them which is okay. It
is very important that your child has their name in their shoes and all costume pieces, along with their
first and last name on the outside of their costume bag if they have multiple costumes. Below is a list of
the tights they will need, shoes, and how their hair must be done. Please make sure that you have all the
correct items. You can get your child’s shoes and tights at Strictly Workout Wear in Temecula.
