Problems of Existing System
Lack of transparency in the agency consumer interface
System incapable of generating any kind of report or notification
for district administration to monitor the actual status of LPG
Booking and delivery in the district.
The users are forced to spend disproportionately large amount of
time and effort to get their domestic bookings done
Data entry work in the gas agencies are handled manually.
Booking service is not available 24 X 7.
Consumer is not provided acknowledgement of booking

Consumers can request for booking of GAS to Agency or CSC/LOKVANI Kendra, they need to provide necessary details like consumer no, agency name and ID proof for booking.
These requests will be reflected in Agency's Panel.
As soon as the agency receives the stock the system automatically allocates the stock on the First Come First Serve (FCFS) basis to the pending requests.
Expected delivery will be updated to the current date. Agency may extend this date up to 7 days
After the delivery the Agency will update the delivery information again in the System.
If the agency is not able to
deliver with in 7 days they will be
marked as defaulters.
System checks the last Gas booking date and if the consumer is eligible for booking then process continues, in the next step after successful booking system will generate a receipt.

Initially this System has been implemented
in Gonda District and has been running
successfully. In future this system can also
be implemented in other district.
In future this System will also include
IVRS(Interactive Voice Response System)
and SMS facility.

This software fulfills all the needs of Stake Holders. This application is very much flexible and can be easily adapted to ones need and requirements.
