Happy New Year! Everyone at the Credit Union is excited for the New Year! We accomplished a great deal in 2016 and have even more in store for 2017. I hope you are taking advantage of some of our new products and services such as: CardValet®, GreenPath Financial Solutions, or a Home Equity Loan. If you haven’t be sure to talk to a Financial Service Representative soon! Coming in 2017: Mobile Deposit, EMV Credit Cards with Rewards, and a newly remodeled “F” Street location, just to name a few! Construction at the “F” Street location will begin soon – Please pardon our mess during this time!
Effective March 1st, 2017 our 120th Street location will be drive-thru service only. This will last through the month of March, when we will be closing this location permanently. We have decided to redirect these resources by adding new products and services such as Mobile Deposits, ATM network, CardValet, online account application, reward checking and electronic loan signing. If there is anything you would like us to implement that would help with your banking needs please email us at [email protected].
We have been busy implementing EMV cards for both debit and credit cards. If you have a Debit Card with us, be on the lookout for your new EMV Debit Card. You will receive your card during the month of reissue regardless if it is the year it is expiring. It is important that you activate your new card within 30 days to avoid your old and new card being deactivated. Our new Credit Card program is launching January 23rd, if you have an existing card with us be on the lookout for that as well. You should have received several letters explaining the new card, if you have any questions please reach out to a Loan Officer.
Our Annual Business Meeting will be held on March 14, 2017 at 9:00am. This years meeting will be held at the Nebraska Children’s Home Society. Tickets will be available for purchase February 27th - March 7th. Jennifer Warnsing, NCCO, NCRMPresident/CEO

Per Article IV, Section 2, of the Bylaws of Kellogg Midwest Federal Credit Union, notice is hereby given that there will be an election of one (1) Director to the Board of Directors of Kellogg Midwest Federal Credit Union for a three (3) year term. The election will be conducted by Ballot and there will be no nominations from the floor.
The Nominating Committee nominated the following individuals to serve as director of the Kellogg Midwest Federal Credit Union for a three (3) year term:
Tim Zagurski (Incumbent)Tim started at the Kellogg’s plant in 1975 and was a thirty-five (35) year employee. During his tenure, he served on the Kellogg Union Negotiating Committee. Tim also served several years as a union steward for the BCTGM local union. Tim later became the Business Agent for the Bakery, Confectionary, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers Union 50G Union. While serving as the Business Agent, Tim also served on the Con-Agra Pension Board. Tim retired from Kellogg’s and as acting Business Agent in November of 2010. Tim became a Board member of Kellogg Midwest FCU in 2008, and currently holds the position of Secretary.
Notice to Members
Any member interested in running for a position on the Board of Directors of Kellogg Midwest Federal Credit Union, he/she should submit a letter to the Nominating Committee at Kellogg Midwest FCU, 9601 F Street, Omaha NE, 68127. Qualifications to be considered include, but are not limited to the following: Must be a member in good standing, must be 19 years of age, must be bondable, must not have delinquent loan history, and must have good credit. The Nominating Committee will contact you to discuss the requirements, election process, and the Board’s responsibilities and duties. You have until February 3, 2017 to be considered a candidate. All candidates will be posted on or by February 10, 2017. The election will not be conducted by ballot as long as the number of Nominees equals the number of Board positions (1) up for election.
