This is a helper. In no case the author can be considered liable of bad issues on your computer…

This guide is intended at Mac OSX users...

After having downlowded one of the following archives:

... and unzipped it, just follow the next steps

here is the content of SheepShaver archive..(which you should place in your Applications folder..)

1. Create a new folder and name it as you want...

here I have named it "Shared".

This folder will serve as an exchange folder betweenOS9 and OSX environments (see next slides).

2. you will have to check the paths to:

Mac_OS9_HD (virtual disk containing Mac OS9)Mac_OS_ROMkeycodes.sdl

2. To this purpose, run SheepShaverPrefs...

Warning: never build a virtual HD with the same name..!!

These paths are to be changed manually, if needed.

Then, quit SheepShaverPrefs, and run SheepShaver...

...and run PaleoMac too...!! you should obtain something like this:

here is the exchange folder generated by SheepShaverPrefs in OS9 (the "Unix root"....)

here is an alias to the "Shared" folder in the SheepShaver folder under OSX
