For a real sense of comfort...Pure water is always soft. The water that comes out of the faucet, you will want soft also for cleaning, bathing, and heating.
That hardness and impurities can be reduced with the water softeners and filters of Softena. Consider coffee with soft water. Softened water gives a fuller and stronger coffee flavor. If you wash clothes with hard water, they will feel rough and harsh to the skin. Therefore washing machines have a separate compartment for fabric softener. The hardness of the water is not the only problem. All fresh water on earth comes from rain and rain water is basically pure, but during its journey on the surface and in the underground there are plenty of impurities. Two of these impurities – the minerals calcium and magnesium – make the water hard. Other contaminants – sediment, rust particles, sand, iron, manganese, pesticides, chemicals – may constitute a threat to your skin and your health.

Not every family member drinks coff ee or shaves. But we all take a bath or shower. The water softeners by Softena provide extra comfort. The Softena SOF-CS-Eco is the standard model and is perfectly suited to soften municipal water. The SOF-CS-Eco+ is the pre-ferred solution to soften water from sources other than the municipal tap water.
The SOF-BBS-Eco water softeners do the same but are suitable for tight spaces and can easily be installed under the sink.

Suspended solids, sand particles and rust in your water are some of the main causes of damage to home appliances. A fi lter, placed on the incoming main pipe, is an effi cient way to address this problem.
Our Softena SOF-POE-1 and SOF-POE-2 backwas-hable sediment fi lters get that job e� ciently and reliably.
Our Softena sediment fi lters:

Water can contain many elements. The most common impurities in well water is water hardness but also or-ganic matter can aff ect the quality of the water. The Softena Multimix uses a revolutionary multipurpose fi lter media that eff ectively and effi ciently treats 5 common problems found in municipal and well water supplies.
Our Softena Multimix:• The Multimix ensures great quality, colorless and
soft water for consumption or sanitary use and, of course, for all other purposes.
• Removes the hardness minerals calcium (Ca2) and magnesium (Mg2) from the water.
• Filters iron (Fe2) and manganese (Mn2) that may aff ect the color of the water.

Erie manufacturing company was founded on January 9th, 1943 when Henry Alfrey purchased the machinery and as-sets of a small manufacturing company at 200 East Erie Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA). Although the fi rst products were emergency oxygen systems for military air-craft, Erie soon became a pioneer and innovator in ‘devices to control fl ows’, for application in oxygen, HVAC and water treatment systems.
