A report on a visit to extension activity Asha deep
orphan
The college takes initiative of insisting social responsibility in the
students.one way in which this is done by arranging regular visit to ashrams,
homes and orphanages encouraging the students to interact regularly with
residents and carrying out various activities.
One of our main focus is a home, Asha deep which caters to underprivileged
school aged girls between the ages of 6 yrs. to 20 yrs. This home caters to
their education, providing a place for them to stay as well as meeting their
basic needs. The students of our college along with the assistance of one
faculty visit the orphan to meet the students to conduct various activities
like skits imparting values, songs and rhymes, dances and games and also
academic courses in subjects that children’s find difficult.
