My Dearest Parish Family, God be with us always. Happy Feast of the Holy Family! Advanced Blessed, Happy and New Year to all of you and your loved ones. It is my hope that your Christmas Season has been truly memorable as you had the opportunity to spend much time with family, loved ones and friends. It is indeed a joyful season that our Loving Father provides for all of us so we can take time first to look into ourselves and be open to transformation. Then we can share the gifts of grace we receive to others starting from our families. I do hope that such an initiative of being charitable and giving can someone create a ripple effect in our communities. First, let me give a sincere gratitude to all who gave our Parish Family through their initiative, coordination and leadership an opportunity to practice charity. I am touched and encouraged by the generous response to be there and help the needy. I do hope that it will translate into a lifestyle of heartfelt giving and sharing to those who are in need. Second, I would like to encourage everyone to pursue the gifts of grace they have received during the Advent and this Christmas Season. We are still intent on truly making a push to develop a sincere and strong prayer life among our Parish Family as part of our Dynamic Catholic Initiative. Many of us have had the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Penance giving us the chance to become better versions of ourselves. Third, may I suggest that we all include in our New Year’s Resolution the determination to persevere into searching our hearts and be intently listening to where the Holy Spirit is directing us. This way we follow St. Paul in his encouragement to the Christian community to live in love as disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ. One of the best ways a person can practice this is to be involved in ministries that attend to the different aspects of our Pastoral activities
and services. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for accompanying me the past year in our journey as a Parish Family to keep on pursuing the Parish Mission that our Lord Jesus has entrusted to all of us. God bless and take care. Love and prayers,

Avanzado Bendito, Feliz y Año Nuevo para todos ustedes y sus seres queridos. Espero que su temporada navideña haya sido verdaderamente memorable, ya que tuvo la oportunidad de pasar mucho tiempo con su familia, seres queridos y amigos. De hecho, es una temporada alegre que nuestro Padre Amoroso nos brinda a todos para que podamos tomar tiempo primero para mirarnos a nosotros mismos y estar abiertos a la transformación. Entonces

Martha Corrales entered into eternal life on December 13, 2019. Her funeral Mass was held on December 20, 2019.

Our monthly food drive to assist South County Outreach is held the second weekend of each month. If you are unable to bring your donation this weekend, remember there are baskets in the parish hall that you can put your donations into during the week.
“Living Faith Books” Living Faith Books will be available after Masses on December 28th and December 29th while quantities last. A donation is suggested.
Mass with Anointing of the Sick Mass with Anointing of the Sick is celebrated on the second Saturday of every month (January 11th) during the 8am Mass. Come and experience the power of faith and the healing presence of God.

The Knights need your help in collecting recyclables. Your recyclables are a gift to those in need. The “Lord” asks that we reach out to others and this can be your way to do so. Praying with others amplifies our prayers. As part of our Dynamic Parish Year of Prayer, we are initiating a prayer space called “The Ark
of Prayer” (next to OLP Room). This is a place where you will be invited to write down your petition and someone will pray with you. After praying with a Prayer Partner, your written intention may be
placed in a prayer box that will be brought up during the offertory at designated Masses.

Gracias a todos los Servidores de Altar, Ministros Extraordinarios de la Sagrada Comunión, Ministros de Hospitalidad, Lectores,
Músicos y aquellos que sirvieron en las Misas Navideñas dando generosamente su tiempo y talento para el beneficio de la
Comunidad Parroquial. Y un agradecimiento especial a todos los voluntarios que subieron escaleras, colgaron luces, movieron
figuras de la Natividad y todas las otras tareas requeridas para crear nuestro hermoso ambiente navideño.
Moneda Extranjera y Diezmo
De vez en cuando recibimos moneda extranjera en nuestra colecta dominical. Desafortunadamente, no podemos depositar dinero extranjero en nuestro banco. No nos gusta tirar la moneda solo porque no sirve para la parroquia cuando sabemos que tiene valor en otra parte, por lo que le pedimos que se abstenga de contribuir con monedas extranjeras. Apreciamos a los feligreses por su tiempo, el talento y el tesoro de los EE.UU.!
