The FLOWERS IN THE SANCTUARY last Sunday were given to the Glory of God and in
memory of Mary and Charlie Franks by Steve, Ben and Carl Williams. This announcement
was inadvertently omitted from last week's bulletin.
JONAH IN JULY. The little book of Jonah is different from any other Biblical writing and
offers a sometimes comic view of human nature in the presence of God. We will conclude
our study today as we look at Chapter 4, Jonah's Pride (Sweating It Out in a Pout)
The NOON BAG-A-LUNCH BUNCH will not meet this week; will resume August 7.
July is our month to collect non-perishable items for HOPE of Lancaster County. Needed
items at this time are jelly; any juice; cereal; self-rising corn meal; self-rising flour; diabetic
foods; and canned sweet peas.
FAMILY PROMISE 6th ANNUAL GOLF OUTING will be held on Saturday, August 17,
2013 at the Lancaster Golf Club. See flyer on bulletin board for details.
BETHELWOODS POOL. Come enjoy the Bethelwoods pool as a family during
Presbytery Open Swim Sundays from 2-4pm through August 25.
BETHELWOODS CAMP. Camp is not just for the kids; Bethelwoods has Family Camp
August 30 - September 2! Families of all ages and sizes are welcome to come to camp for a
long weekend of relaxation and fun..
PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN'S 2013 SPIRITUAL RETREAT will be held October 5 at
Bethelwoods Camp and Conference Center. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.
