HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Let us maintain our pride and ownership of Council

9202.Step up and volunteer!

Annual Christmas Party Despite the inclement weath-

er, there were plenty of young and old who showed up, to meet with Santa Claus follow-ing a hearty meal. As always, Santa showed up n his jolly mood, distributed toys and can-dies, organized games to the delight of those present.. This year’s event was regarded as the most in attendance from the inception of this Holiday gath-ering. (See pictures on page 4)

Cont’d from p. 1

After that, we will have a short break in our fund raisers but will devote much of our time to ac-tivities such as the Children's Easter Egg Hunt, assisting the parish in their annual golf tour-nament, working with the schools on our scholarships, working with our youth groups, and many, many things in be-tween these events that keep us very busy.

The annual dues statements will be coming out shortly. As most of you know through our e-blasts and meetings, my motto this year has been "Just Say Yes". There will be a volunteer statement included with your dues statement. Please take the time to fill it out and return it with your dues payment. It is not too much to ask that each of you participate in something, big or small, whether it is on the list or not. We need your participa-tion and help!!

And finally, let us remember that everything we do, we ulti-mately do in the name of our Lord. We may be using our minds and bodies to get things done but it is His work that we are doing. So, let's make a New Years resolution to count our-selves as one whose personal motto is "Just Say Yes".

God bless you and have a wonderful New Year…

Joe AccursoGrand Knight

Cont’d light up for Christ ….Fr. Ruel and Brother Eric were also on hand. Following the lighting lyric binders were dis-tributed and all sang along to Christian Christmas carols. Jeanie had prepared tables full of cookies and other delights as well as hot coffee, hot cider and flavored tea. Chuck and Jeanie also opened their home to a ver-itable Christmas scene alivewith all types of colorfully lighted Christmas decorations. The Supreme office of the Knights of Columbus encour-age councils all across the USA to light up a Nativity scene at exactly 8 PM in their respective time zones. Editor’s note: Chuck and Jeanie’s artistic display won the award last year. Well done - Chuck and Jeanie.! Keep up with the good work.

4th Degree Exemplification

Brother Chuck Robertson an-nounced that former Master Jim Letcher will be at our January Council meeting to discuss the up-coming 4th degree exemplifica-tion . Any 3rd degree member who is eligible and considering to move up must fill up the application at this time, to allow ample time for review and processing. Check with Chuck or Bill Pausch for further details.
