~ REFLECTION ~ When we gather here each Sunday, we know where we will find God: in each other, in the Word proclaimed, in the Blessed Sacrament. Our readings today will challenge us to find God in other places and at other times in our lives. Perhaps as we continue our celebration today, our prayer can be for the vision to see and hear God in our lives outside this sacred place.

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it. Life is beauty, admire it. Life is a bliss, taste it. Life is a dream, realize it. Life is a challenge, meet it Life is a duty, complete it. Life is a game, play it. Life is a promise, fulfill it. Life is sorrow, overcome it. Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it. Life is a tragedy, confront it. Life is an adventure, dare it. Life is luck, make it. Life is too precious, do not destroy it. Life is life, fight for it….

Did You Know? There is a lot that goes into preparing for the new school year, and it’s important to remember to talk about safety. These are a few tips to consider: (1) meet all of your child’s teachers, (2) discuss school bathroom

behavior (no one should go into a stall with a child for any reason), (3) occasionally walk your children to their class instead of using the car-pool line. To request a copy of the VIRTUS® ar-ticle “Three Things that Simply Must Be Done” email [email protected] or call (213) 637-7227. Sabia Usted?
