A PEEK INTO OUR HISTROY

• Started in 1867 by 3 enterprising Britons Samual Gilfillan, William Adamson

and H.W Wood, known as Gilfillan, Wood and Co as a trading company

• The company expanded by a merger in 1886 with A.C Harper & Co which rebrand as Harper Gilfillan

• The group diversified its businesses to include shipping and forwarding in

Singapore , Malaysia and Brunei in 1962

• In 1977, with the involvement of Malaysian Armed Forces Corporative (Koperasi Angkatan Tentera Malaysia Bhd.), Harpers Shipping Singapore Pte Ltd and Tengku Dato’ Zainal Rashid Bin Tengku Mahmood a new entity known as Harper Wira was born

• In 2004 Wallem group bought Harpers Shipping shares and became the second largest shareholder
