A Trip to Yosemite
Last April, my family took a trip to Yosemite,
a huge national park in California. Yosemite is
famous for its mountains, waterfalls, and wildlife.
First, we unpacked our bags and set up the tent.
Next, we took a hike through the valley. We saw
wildflowers, deer, and birds. The views were
astounding! There is even a tree so large that you
can walk through its trunk. I started to get really
hungry and tired, so we took a break to eat a picnic.
When you’re inside the park, you have to be careful about bears who live in the
surrounding wilderness, so we threw our trash into a bear-safe trashcan.
