A visit to Fame, Sizzlers

and Alexandra Park

Our Year 3/4 students were all excited when

they arrived at the Moncrieff Theatre in

Bundaberg to join the many other schools for

the Fame Musical.

Based on a Christmas theme, the students enjoyed watching the actors bring together the

stage play which included a number of fun

and catchy songs.

After the show, they were lucky enough to

meet some of the stars when they came out

and mingled with the audience.

When we were finished at the Moncrieff, it

was time for lunch. We boarded the bus and

were driven to Sizzler. (yum!)

Everyone enjoyed their meal . . .

Some more than others.

There

was

spaghetti going around everywhere!

Once our bellies were full, it was time to walk

some of our food off around Alexandra Park.

We saw lots of colourful birds.

We met two dingoes. Both were too

sleepy to come out and greet us, or

maybe they were shy.

Moving on, we arrived at the emus’ pen.

They were very friendly and made funny

noises.

A walk through the park led us down to the

Burnett River and out onto the pier.

On the walk back to the park, we found

another resident.

After a drink and some afternoon tea, it

was time to play.

So much

playground

equipment to

choose from.

Of course we had to try all of them!

The day was a great success and we all had a lot of fun. Everyone was tied and ready for

home by the end of it.
