WOMEN’S RETREAT
IT'S COMING!!!!!! Mark your calendars - the 10th
Annual Church of Good Shepherd's BFF Retreat will
be held May 6, 7 & 8 at the St. Raphaela Retreat
Center in Haverford, PA. As it is our 10th Retreat,
our focus will be on God's Top Ten List - the Ten
Commandments. We will be evaluating how to
make these commandments most relevant to our
lives in 2018. You won't want to miss this wonder-
ful time away with the women of Good Shepherd
where we study, pray and LAUGH! Signup now (the
list is in the Parish Hall). Invite a friend to join you.
Worshipping With Us Episcopal worship is participatory. We stand, we kneel, we respond vocally during parts of the ser-vice, sometimes with singing! Please join in at your level of comfort. If you’d like to learn more about what we as Episcopalians believe and do, or if you have any questions, please fill out one of the yellow cards in the pew and give it to Mother Susan or one of our ushers. We hope you feel welcome here and that you will come back often to feed your faith.
A Word About Receiving Communion in the Episcopal Church
All are invited to the Altar to receive. If you would like a blessing, just cross your arms over your chest. If you decide to receive only the bread, extend your hand for the wafer and cross your arms over your chest to decline the wine. For the wine or grape juice you may guide the chalice to your lips by placing your hand gently on the chalice’s base and guiding it. Or you can dip your host (wafer) into the wine. Or you can give the host to the Lay Eucharistic Minister, who will dip the host into the wine and place it in your mouth.
Please Be Considerate of Our Neighbors! We are so glad you're here! But when you park near the
church, please be considerate of our neighbors and
make sure you have fully cleared their driveways. Thank
you!
Don’t Forget About our Squirrels’ Nests! One in the Back of the Church
and One in the Parish Hall. All Waiting to Take Your Spare Change!
Find out what’s going on in our Diocese! “Good
News in the Garden State!” is our weekly Dioce-
san electronic newsletter. You can get it sent to

CLASS will meet on Sunday, June 5, follow-ing the morning service in the Conference Room. Our topic this month will be "Evil, Suf-fering & A Loving God." Mark your calendar for the next study of Up-pity Women of the Bible! We'll begin on Thursday, September 8 at 9:30 a.m. (following Morning Prayer). Our focus for this study will be the book of Judith. Watch for more details toward the end of summer.
The Weeping Tree An Easter Cantata

Schedule for Stations of the Cross Friday 3/16 at7PM in the Church -- NO DINNER Friday 3/23 at 7PM in the Church -- 6:30 Soup & Bread dinner in Parish Hall Friday 3/30 (GOOD FRIDAY) at 10AM in the Church. Children's Stations of the Cross (older kids involved as Staff. Friday 3/30 (GOOD FRIDAY) at 12PM in the Church -- Primary Stations of the Cross (The Lay Leaders will be Jeff Snodgrass, Jack Daugherty, and Chuck Lezenby. Clergy involvement at their discre-tion--Mother Susan and Deacon Carl.) Stations of the Cross are a very solemn way to walk the Way of the Cross, the same as Jesus did over 2000 years ago. Although we know the outcome of the Great Triduum, Jesus’ friends and followers did not. We must be in that same mindset of not knowing Jesus' triumphant outcome! Please join us. It is twenty minutes of worth-while time on the seven Fridays in Lent.
Maybe YOU Can Help Audrey!
Audrey Buck has moved to Mullica Gardens As-sisted Living. There is a sheet in the Parish Hall for people to sign up to bring Audrey here on Sundays and bring her home.
Food Pantry
Next week, March 17 & 18 we are collecting Canned Fruit for the Pitman Food Pantry. All donations are greatly appreciated and ac-cepted.
COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP FORMS
Forms are in the white envelopes on the bulletin board across from the Conference Room. Please check the Deadline dates and have your paper-work & recommendations needed in on time. Any questions please see Mother Susan+.
