Up Close: Teaching Preaching in IndiaIn February, masters level seminary studentslearned how to preach the Bible when Charlietaught a class at South Asia Institute forAdvancedChristianStudies inBangalore.Using the bookof Galatians,studentslearned how tostay faithful tothe message ofthe book and itsunits. This book has helped me to see the two views onthe subject of Lordship salvation and to evaluatethem without prejudice. It also gives a goodexegetical analysis of the subject and how others’view it. This dissertation is comprehensive and verydetailed, especially on key passages which relate tothe topic.
• In December Charlie spoke in NJ atPinelands Community Church (pastor
Gary McNally), and GraceChristian Church (pastor JeffBarbieri). In February he taughtat South Asia Institute ofAdvanced Christian Studies(SAIACS) in India, and in earlyMarch at the Grace Conferencein Dallas.
• In March and April, Charliegoes to Houston for two ministryconferences. Then April 8-9 finds him atShreveport Bible Church (LA), andMay 7 & 14 places him at PinelandsCommunity Church again (NJ). May 23-25 Charlie will preach a three-night seriesat St. Francis Protestant Fellowship inFort Worth (TX), and May 28 at BrenhamBible Church (TX). In July GraceLife willtake a team to minister in Ghana, WestAfrica, where Charlie will also trainministry leaders.
