The Amiantit group is the leading organisation in the development of technologies for pipe fabrication and water management systems thanks to its experience and practical competence, its product range, its presence at regional and international level and its industrial and service structures dedicated to the development fluid transportation applications going back over 40 years.
The Amiantit Group is currently present in over 70 countries with 29 pipe fabrication plants, 6 companies dedicated to technological product development, 9 water management and engineering companies and 4 companies producing raw materials.

Operating within the activity of Amiantit Pipe Systems (the Amiantit Group's pipe fabrication branch) is the AMITECH brand, which encompasses FGRP pipe and fittings fabrication plants throughout the world.
For over a quarter of a century, AMITECH has been playing a key role in perfecting glass fibre reinforced polyester pipes, developing new products and fabrication technologies which enhance the quality and reliability of its products.
AMITECH started its operations in Spain in 1994 with a fabrication plant at Camarles (Tarragona).

Their lightness, corrosion resistance and fabrication to strict quality standards set FLOWTITE glass fibre reinforced polyester pipes apart. AMITECH's composite is present in all types of application. irrigation, drinking water supply, drainage and industry.
FLOWTITE FGRP pipes combine the high mechanical strength of fibre glass with the resin's corrosion resistance. Furthermore, they withstand a wide range of temperatures and working pressures. These properties make AMITECH's FGRP pipe systems the best solution for fluid conduction in the most extreme conditions of use.

FABRICATION
FLOWTITE pipes have an exclusive structural design, allowing for diameters of up to DN4000 and pressures of up to 32bar.
Validated by long-term testing, optimum results are obtained with the FLOWTITE fabrication process: high-performing pipes at the lowest cost.
The continuous mandrel advancing fabrication process is unique in that it uses resin and two types of glass fibre reinforcement (continuous and choppable roving) to achieve tangential and axial resistance. Ultra-pure silica sand is also used at the core, close to the neutral axis, to strengthen the laminate and increase the pipe's rigidity.
The FLOWTITE fabrication process guarantees perfect curing of the pipe thanks to close monitoring of all the variables which might affect the process.

FLOWTITE COUPLINGS
When two FLOWTITE pipes meet, they are joined for life. FLOWTITE joints are high-quality precision joints.
Standard joints using a FLOWTITE FGRP coupling with a double elastomer rubber retention ring ensure a perfect seal. These joints are designed and tested in conformity with standard ASTM D4161, tested at twice the design pressure to guarantee hermeticity for the lifetime of the pipe.
FLOWTITE couplings allow pipes of a wide range of diameters and pressures to be fitted together. FLOWTITE's joints, perfect joints for the long-term.
DRINKING WATER
FLOWTITE pipe systems offer the safest and securest means of transporting drinking water, thus making a direct contribution to improving quality of life in our society.
Our pipe systems are used for water transportation pipelines as well as in water treatment and desalination plants.
Its exclusive fabrication process ensures that FLOWTITE meets the requirements of the CDP (Construction Products Directive) which stipulates that construction materials must not alter the quality of water intended for human consumption. In addition, AMITECH pipes are ACS certified. This is the Certificate of Health Compliance issued by the Laboratoire Santé Environnement Hygiène in Lyon, which has the authorisation of the French Ministry of Health.
IRRIGATION
FLOWTITE pipes are an essential ally in irrigation projects across the world. Its performance, in terms of installation as well as operation and maintenance, guarantees the best return on investment.
FLOWTITE pipes are widely used in main and secondary pipelines, in addition to high-pressure and large diameter delivery pipes. In the last decade, their use has expanded to a global scale.
The sustainable management of water is vital for the health of our planet. Irrigation systems currently suffer losses of 25%. AMITECH, with its Environmental Management System, promotes efficient irrigation policies by ensuring that distribution ducts for irrigation systems are completely watertight.
DRAINAGE
AMITECH provides an integral system for drainage networks with or without pressure, guaranteeing the highest level of efficiency in the construction and operation of waste water networks.
AMITECH has developed all the elements which are essential for modern drainage networks, such as totally sealed manholes, branches, elbows, transitions to pipes made of different materials, separators etc.
The AMISTORM TANK range of storm tanks adapts existing networks to the new rainwater purification requirements in the most efficient way, helping to prevent the devastating floods which hit many regions of the planet. The most reliable system working to save the environment.
